Saint John's Abbey Organ Builders specializes in building and restoring fine mechanical action organs. Located at Saint John's Abbey in Collegeville, MN, our shop carries forward a centuries-old tradition of Benedictine organ building.

Master organ builder Martin Pasi serves as artistic director and oversees all phases of organ building from design and construction to installation and voicing. All instrument components are built in our shop by a team of lay and monastic craftsmen, an effort of daily work and prayer.

Central to our mission of education is the sharing of skill and knowledge between master, journeyman and apprentice organ builders. From a place of gratitude and generosity, we hope to share our workshop, our classes, and concerts with the serious student, the casual craftsperson, and the listening heart attentive to every tone.
